The Broadband Law Group is certified in federal grants management and assists our clients in achieving their financial, operational and strategic goals while maintaining compliance with these federal laws, regulations, and requirements. The Broadband Law Group is led by the former director of compliance and audits for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) $4.2 billion Broadband Technology Grant Program (BTOP). That experience gives us unparalleled expertise in developing and implementing compliance processes and procedures for federal technology programs, knowledge of information technology, applications, and operations, successful track record of project delivery, experience in integration planning, organizational change management, and enterprise project management experience.
Today, NTIA is once again implementing a set of new federal financial assistance grant programs to support broadband deployment, including the Broadband Infrastructure Program, Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program, and Connecting Minority Communities Program. These programs will be governed under similar policy and compliance rules to those the previously applied to BTOP. Our experience in shaping BTOP thus gives us unmatched insights into NTIA’s approach to these new programs.
BBLG understands federal grants and has developed, managed, and provided legal, technical, and analytical expertise and support for the development of compliance recommendations to NTIA, the Office of Management and Budget, Federal Communications Commission (FCC), U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Utilities Service, White House Council of Environmental Quality, and Advisory Council of Historic Preservation. We are well positioned to assist our clients with all aspects of grant compliance.
